What is Clarity?
Clarity is a language-learning app. You choose the language you speak and the one you are learning, study with dictionaries and lessons, practise translating sentences with an AI that checks your answers, and keep a daily streak going. Clarity has plans named Free, Plus, Pro and Pro Talk; they are described in the Terms of Use and in the app.
What you can do in Clarity
Dictionaries, ready-made or your own
Pick ready-made dictionaries from the Catalog, or create your own dictionaries, tests and courses from the words and sentences you care about.
Lessons that bring words back
Dictionary lessons mix new words with scheduled reviews, so the words you are still learning keep coming back.
Practice with AI
Translate sentences on topics you choose and get your answer checked, with an explanation. Turn on hints to see what the next word means and how it is built while you type, and read the sentence word by word afterwards. AI can be wrong, so any answer can be reported.
Talk with AI
Practise speaking in a voice conversation with an AI. Talk works on iPhone with iOS 26 or later (not on iPad) and needs a paid plan: Plus works with your own OpenAI key, Pro and Pro Talk include Talk time.
Word games
Short games for remembering vocabulary, such as matching words with their translations or guessing a word in six tries.
Streaks and daily goals
Choose how many minutes a day you want to practise, turn on a reminder if you like, and watch your streak grow.
Friends
Add friends with their six-character friend code. If you prefer, you can turn off friend requests from other people.

Your privacy, in short
- You sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an e-mail address and a password; we send a one-time code to your e-mail address to confirm it. We do not ask for your phone number, address, contacts from your address book or location.
- Practice with AI sends the text you type to OpenAI, and Talk with AI sends your voice. Each asks for your agreement in the app first, and you can withdraw it later.
- Accounts without a paid plan see rewarded video ads from Google AdMob on iPhone and iPad. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice later. Google receives some technical data to show ads, which some laws treat as “sharing” of data; the policy explains.
- We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools, and we do not sell your data for money. You can delete your account in the app at any time; your data is erased 15 days after your request, and until then you can restore the account.
- This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
